Strut is a dog rescued by skydivers from the now defunct Skydive Cal City dropzone, CA. Some have thought he's a Schipperke mix. The Animal Control Center (a.k.a. "Dog Jail" as the jumpers called it) was next to the dropzone and jumpers would walk past it coming back from the landing area, many times seeing dogs in the outside cages dumped there by folks who didn't want them anymore. Sturt has fared much better than Stuie and Dodger, two other dogs rescued from the same location by skydivers. Strut's human is a world traveling, jet setting, tax adjuster and part-time pilates instructor. Strut is now very spoiled and living in the lap of luxury, eating his gourmet dinner off of sterling silver every night.
