How to tie a timber hitch, also known as a Bowyer's knot. This is a great knot to secure a line or begin a lashing. We use it to tie on the bow drill cord, tie on bow strings, tie up a hammock, and of course it can be used to drag big logs :)

  • the second time around, the knot was done different than the first time. so which is the right way?

  • This is _the_ most clear instruction on a knot I've ever seen. I'd love it if you would show a couple of other knots.
