  • @danthemanpatrick Only one correction if you let me, this is a straight-eight cylindres, such a beautiful car, so much power in those tires

  • This car is just a masterpiece! Can't say more!

  • runs on methanol and veg oil

  • @pepe190 Absolutely, yes. No worries.

  • @danthemanpatrick I am sorry, I did not see your correction note, any way, still...... as you probably meant it was a magnificent piece of work .

  • @pepe190 perhaps you noticed my comment of correction I posted shortly after making that mistake

  • @danthemanpatrick With all due respect it was a straight 8 not 6 and it was the only competition to the future competitor from Germany......Mercedes Benz

  • @danthemanpatrick straight eight. sorry. but still.

  • I hope everyone knows what they're hearing/seeing when they watch this video. This car (or another one just like it) was used to win the FIRST EVER two Formula One world championships in 1950 & 1951. It's powered by a 1.5 litre straight six, equipped with a twin-stage supercharger. This engine makes FOUR HUNDRED AND FIFTY HORSEPOWER (from 1500cc!!!). (this info came right out of the program for the 2010 pebble beach concours (alfa was featured). So I'd say it's true. Yes, INCREDIBLE. But true.)

  • Most beautiful race car ever conceived. I saw one of these at the 2010 Pebble Beach Concours. As a result of seeing it & all the other gorgeous Alfas there, I must say I'm now a bigger fan of the cross & snake than I am of the prancing horse.
