Way don't you replace it with a stainless steel bracelet.
Or it doesn't have the classic system with the telescope spring bar's ?

I have this watch, the watch itself is brilliant, but the straps are useless, in a short period of time the plastic strap became weak then would begin to rip across the strap. the loops snapped also. I managed to get a replacement strap shipped over from the States but eventually the same thing happened to that one also.
I have had this watch now gathering dust on my bedside table which is a real shame. If I knew there was a better longer lasting strap for it I would pay the money.
