After a fwe minutes in the car, Demi was already warming up to Joe. They talked mostly about music and she couldn't help but think that he's really cute. She got out in front of her house and said goodbye.
"See ya tomorrow, Demz." He said with a flirty wink.
"See ya, Joey." Insisting on his little nickname.
He shock his head with a smile and drove again, but part of her wanted him to stay. She was getting seriously confused.
"What the hell? He's a jerk who thinks he's cooler than everybody else! He's dating HER! How can I be starting to like him...?" She said to hersefl as she walked up the front porch.
"Like who?" she hear a familiar voice say.
Right there at the door was Demi's mother, waiting for her to come in. She had a little smirk on her lips and had her arms crossed over her chest.
"Hum, no one..." Demi spoke.
"Oh, no one as in the guy that just drove her home? Quite a catch you have there. But I'd warn you to stay away if he alread has a girlfriend." She said as Demi entered the house and they walked over to the dinning room.
"I'm not after him. It's like he's after me..." She said, with a long sigh.
"Unfaintful. Another reason to stay away, honey." She added.
Not knowing what to say, Demi rolled her eyes and took a bit out of her pizza.
The next day, when she walked into school, it seemed as if everywhere she went, she could hear people whispering and felt like everyones eyes were on her.
When she walked into her first class, Joe walked up to her again.
"Hey, so whenever you're up for it, you know where to find me." He said, winked and walked away.
Up for what? Another ride back home? Had it something to do with the whispers? What the hell was he talking about?!
At lunch, she joined Selena and Taylor again.
"Hey, guys." She said, smiling.
"Oh, you can say girls." Selena jokked, looking over at Taylor.
"Shut up. I'm gay, not a girl." He replied, but he was still smiling.
"Same diff." she said shrugging her shoulders. "So, hum, you could have told us, you know... We don't judge. Obviously." She told me, looking over at Tatlor again at obviously, but sent him a little smirk.
"Tell you guys what? Does this have to do with the whipsers everywhere I go?" Demi said, getting annoyed.
"Why you got kicked out of your last school. It's only normal people are talking about it. It's not everyday a gilr is expelled for getting caught having sex in a janitor's closet." She explained.
"What?!" I said, shocked. "You think I'd do that?"
"Everyone does! So, it's not true?" Taylor said.
"No a word of it! I'm still a virgin and I'd never do IT at school." She replied.
"Yes! Heand it over, Sel." Taylor said, obviously very happy.
Selena passes him a $20 bille and he put in he's pocket.
"You actually took a bet on if it was true or not?" Demi said, slightly pissed. "And you bet it was?" she said to Selena.
"Yeah, not everyone can be a saint and I really wouldn't care if it was. but now I'm short $20 bucks." She said, shrugging."So, who do you think would start this rumour?"
"Do you even have to ask?" She reaplied angrily.
"Miley?" Both Selena and Taylor asked at the same time.
"Miley."
