@TRICKYNICK1985 Hi remember Roger racing but 2nd time the sandblaster raced , at around 1989 to 1992 or 3 , he was in i think a yellow 2lt cortina so will have been a class 2 car ,i was in class 1 with a Bedford ha van and in later years a vauxhall chevette s then a colt ,my number was 96 Their was i guy i not remember his name he had a mini based special that had a camcorder and recorded many races, i keep meaning to ask Tommy Freeman his name and see if they can be coped

@BreathDoctor Pleased you like it. That is what they play on the rolling lap for Banger Racing, hence why I used it.

Can you tell me what year this was because my Dad (Roger Longmoor) used to race with the Mablethorpe "Sandblasters" all the time

@TRICKYNICK1985 It was either 1973 or 1974. It was the first time cars raced on the beach, and supposedly a one off for carnival week.

it wud be good if they do it now on the beach instead of the bikes cos people are hurtin them selfs now

Time for me to take a visit then :D Didn't know about that.
I've been quite a lot of times to North End, and Moggs Eye and Skeg once a few weeks ago, Dog walking. First time I've been to Skeg beach since the windmills are there.
