I think season 1 was well better but the second series will do, what puts me off the 2nd one a little is the excessive needless nudity, 1 or 2 scenes over a season is okay but in this case they fill up 1/4 of the show. Also the characters seem a lot more shallow, in the first season the viewer could relate to them and actually feel connected but here we just get 2 badasses killing everyone and not giving a fuck about it.

@iedhunter44 Yes it's series 2 of a show adapted from a Chris Ryan book about an ex SAS soldier rescuing a News reporter who's been taken hostage in the Middle East. It's shown on Sky 1 in the UK and Cinemax in the US. first series was purely British but series 2 (Strike Back: Project Dawn) got a big injection of US cash so it's bigger budget and has an American actor (though he plays a British Operative) and a character who's a former US Delta Force soldier (though he's played by an Aussie)
