Uchiha Madara, who posed as Tobi (トビ) was first introduced as a founder of the Konohagakure, Akatsuki and the Uchiha clan. When he joined Akatsuki as Tobi, replacing Sasori, he was partnered with Deidara, revealing himself as Madara after Deidara's death. He has been recognized by Kisame Hoshigaki as once being the Mizukage of Kirigakure, although it is unknown when. He is the major antagonist of the series, being involved with the Nine-Tailed Fox Attack, Uchiha Clan Massacre, and Akatsuki.

i haven't watch any episode later than Naruto Shippuden 100 or later, so i don't know... but ... i saw episode 139-143... he doesn't reveal his true identity... well, he does, but only to Sasuke... so ... in which episode does he come and say everybody "I am Madara Uchiha" ?? :P

@flamingphoenixninja7 Have you seen that episode when Sasuke attacks Kages and then Tobi appears? Tabi says: "I am Madara Uchiha", but he never removes his mask. Thats where I suspect. If he was Madara, he would remove his mask, cuz his cover was blown away, unless he has sth else behind that mask.

@ZackFair1103 He never does so... He appears to everybody and says clearly "I am Madara Uchiha" , but he never removes his mask to clear all the doubts and thats where I suspect. This guy tells everybody he is Madara but if he is, he would remove his mask because his truth was revealed, unless he has sth else behind that mask.

@MrToezteh Look...Ive red the manga...and u know what? There is sth messing the things up. TOBI IS LYING. He wants everybody to think he is Madara, but he ISTN'T.

@NarutoSUNS2fan I said that wrong, I ment to say that he mentioned to Sasuke the Magekyo Sharingan's ability to control Nine-tails. I don't know what I was thinking when I typed that. :/
