Boulder Acoustic Society did three performances and a ukulele workshop for my elementary school last fall. Eating lunch, and talking about instruments, it was suggested that Aaron and Kailin might do a tune on a couple of my Black Bear instruments. It turns out they did Ruben's Train, which just happened to be one of my favorite of Aaron's tunes on youtube--it was his video that helped me convince my wife that I needed a reso-uke. Thanks Aaron! Thanks BAS! Thanks Duane!
Fantastic job guys! This is what I call a two-chord-special, but it shows what can be done with a simple melody. I was wondering where the bass at 2:24 came from , then I saw it was the vocalist...perfect!...just what the song needed to round out the bottom and go along with the hot shuffle-bow jam. Please tell more about the cigar box fiddle. Thanks for posting. Greets from CT
