So how did the polymer clay cabochons turn out?
-
what do you do with them after you make them? what purpose are they for because they are very pretty ..do u make jewerly ?

@tsummerlee I think that may be the problem. My resin is too cold. But I check and blow the bubble out several times over an hour....and still end up with these micro bubbles. I am new to this too....mostly I make other jewelry but I have to broaden my horizons to cover Vet bills for my Siberian with cancer. <3 I hope to get the hang of it soon <3

Trying to figure out still how to keep the micro bubble out of my resin. Everything looks great but after they dry they are full of tiny tiny bubbles.....so frustrating.

@luvmysibes Really? I haven't had a single bubble, and if I have, I can't see it because the mica turns the object opaque. Have you tried warming up your resin parts before you mix them? I put the bottles into a container filled with hot tap water before I do the mixing. No bubbles.

I can't believe it: I have exactly the same artist's palettes!!! And I use it as a mold for my cabochon :-) In Italy we say: the world is very small ;-)

@BeadsFriends I think its because China is so productive with plastic products! :)

Quick question: are the molds that you use to cast them just artist's palettes? if they are that's a really creative way to do it! they're so pretty :)
