Andy Wood performs Dream Theater's Lie

Andy Wood gave a performance clinic on July 22, 2010 at the Raleigh Music Academy and performed Lie by Dream Theater (at Paul Warren's request - ha!). It was a lot of fun to give it a go after playing all of Andy's music and we only had one quick rehearsal to try it, so be kind. :-) A special thanks to summer workshop participant Chris Vickery for learning this at the last moment and jumping up there and doing it with us.

The band was comprised of Andy Wood (lead guitar), Chris Vickery (vocals), Paul Warren (guitar), Jeff Nelson (bass) and Lindsey Tims (drums).

Didn't even notice the hat til about half way thru the vid! I just assumed he had the signature head band.

And the singer sounded like he was trying to pop a vocal chord by the end of the song. Not a bad performance, just not my favorite interpretation of the song.
