Wrong. Just because of this ad and other ads like it, Slattery didn't lose. He's running up against an incumbent Republican in a heavily Republican state. Roberts outraised Slattery 6:1 and despite what people tell you, money is what runs a campaign, especially a senate campaign. I've give the past three years of my life working in politics. I think I would know.
