  • Hmm, interesting contrast. Jockeys in england are required to control the horse themselves. Once they are on the track, they get no assistance (unless they fall etc, obviously)

  • Gosh, there must be a lot of accidents and bad starts in England which could be avoided.

    I will try to do some better film of this kind of thing with tripod in the future. I really like the cooperation between ... man and beast (hate that cliche).

  • Barely any. The horses are required to behave so they are trained to load obediently because the penalty for the horse misbehaving is the horse not starting

  • I had to watch it twice because as I was reading the titles I couldn't see what was happening.
