    Synk

  • @synkuk Thanks. Take care.

  • any words about the fuel consumption and the suspensions? did you had any issues with the 3th gear?

    thanks

    Hi,

right now I am getting around 35 mpg in city. I have Power Commander III installed but it is not set right at the moment, need to perform Dyno one of these days. Suspensions are great, very smooth. Never had any problems with the gears, 3rd works well. Only one thing concerns me, sometimes, on rare occasions, motor would just die when shifting from 2nd to 1st gear and I am just about to stop. I am not sure why though, I asked mechanics but they did not find anything wrong.

  • @sanjinj Gorgeous. I tend to average anywhere between 42-47mpg for the combined and a little higher closer to the low 50s highway if I keep it under 70mph. Otherwise, it's in the low 40s if I open it up into the 90s when on a very open highway. Never had any problems with the gears and neutral is very easy to find. Perhaps you're letting the clutch too far out. There's a lifter-like sound that started around 1500 miles, very faint, but I'm aware of it. I'm not sure if it's normal break-in.
