Dune - April 6 1997 (Part 1)

The event: Dune The year: 1997 ...I remember releasing this footage years ago and somehow it made it to YouTube through other sources so it is not new. Anyway, it is part of my collection so I am posting it here aswell. Best parts of the video, Sandra Collins and some gay dude jumping on her turntables, they play a small part of the movie "Dune" in the middle of the night and the kids on the mountain tops spark up their car flares when the music is released into the night, Doran and his infamous "Morning Desert Sets", the elderly hippie guy in the middle of the crowd who looks like Jerry Garcia dancing his ass off. Good stuff.

Man I had the biggest crush on Sandra Collins back in the day. Loved her sets as she ALWAYS put together some beautiful tunes. Kids today have no idea

Lol! I had no idea that happened to Sandra. I remember I was wandering around alone out in the distance during a lot of her set, tripping BALLS, and I remember thinking that the party was getting shut down when the music went off and thinking how the hell am I going to drive, haha! One of the best parties ever though, as everyone that was there agrees. I remember we stayed way into the next day as the last tune was dropped, and still didn't want to leave.
