@walkingfridge81 In the NBA you can choose a pivot foot after you plant your feet, no matter if you landed your left or right first - look it up in the rulebook.In euroball it's different, there your pivot foot is the one you land on the ground first, you can only choose if you land them both in the same time.Also in the NBA, you can lift your pivot foot of the ground before the ball hits the floor, in euro and international ball you can't do that.

@walkingfridge81 actually his right foot is his pivot foot>>he was going for a step back fadeaway...ginoblli flew in the air>>>kobe moved his left foot as he pivoted his right foot (more on the ball of his foot) and banked it off the glass>>>thats the fundamnetals of the game plus smooth footwork
