I did everything right and the door was locked. Is this because I got the newer copy with the prime 2 demo or am I not doing it right?

The plasma beam is the best weapon in the game, only 1 or 2 shots can kill most enemies and it takes only 1 or 2 shots to let burn damage kill them and a single charge beam shot with plasma beam is enough to kill just about all of the enemies one hit, not including mini bosses and bosses.

what if you missted the clifft where your suppos2 jump there then there to the door yeah what if you missted it then saved the game then well i did it then the screw thing was at the top and not bottom where you screw it so if its at the top what do you do is it over you can never get it? i need help please please im only 10
