Spent £200 on one of these and have tried and tried but got no assistance from anywhere! Would really appreciate some! How do you save the sequences? I keep making up a little tune, then I save it, then when I turn the power off and back on it's vanished! Starting to get pretty frustrated.

Can you play regular piano songs on this machine too?

can you record different bars for each channel? like 2 bars for the channel 1 and 4 bars or more for the 2nd channel?
Question, concerning the the Pattern Sequencer. You touch on it a little here..
The Question is about arranging a song using recorded patterns (1-16)on the MS 1.
Case in point most keyboards you can take created pattens or sequences and then arrange these patterns and sequences into a song... Intro __ Hook____Outro etc....Is the MS 1 only for creating patterns and Loops. How I record and edit arrange Patterns to make a Song to record in the studio?

@Blacknova55 The microSAMPLER doesn't have a "song mode" per se, but each of the patterns can be up to 99 measures long... So you could conceivably create an entire song using a single pattern slot.

nice unit. Can u make a song by using the patterns?
loquito1966 1 year ago
@loquito1966 A pattern can be up to 99 measures long, and if you turn the PATTERN SELECT dial, the microSAMPLER will automatically finish the current pattern before starting the one you've chosen (you can change this behavior to make it begin a new pattern before the current pattern ends).
Also, you can specify a sample for use in KEYBOARD mode, so each time a new pattern starts, a specific sample can be played across the keys.

Can you guys make a video of sampling a seperate instrument plugged into the sampler? This thing can sample from my electric guitar, right?

@liveweyer Yes, it can, and you can run it through lots of different effects (check out our effects tutorial video for examples). To get the best sound, you should plug the guitar into a preamp, then into the line inputs on the back of the microSAMPLER..
