How does that tower not tip over from the weight of that crane? Not to mention the center of gravity shifted significantly.

@Seigu007 I can't state the engineering physics, but there is enormous downward pressure from the guy wires on the tower structure. The guys also keep the structure from tipping or wobbling. The wires are up to 2.75" in diameter. The weight of the gin-pole is inconsequential to those forces.

@catliftresearch Those are large co-axial transmission lines that carry the TV signals to the antennas.

Kind of cool seeing the top of a tower I delivered the new digital antenna for. Deliver 2 last year. Made in the US. Raymond Maine
