I am 18 years old and I was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis about 6 months ago. i would say on the first half of the year i was syptoms such as constant dizzy spells, numbness and lost of control of my legs. I ended up in the ER 3 times, had to take a cat scan and constant MRI's to find out MS was my problem. im not saying i had it the worst just saying thats how i knew i had it

there is a new break through that was reported on a canadian television show called w5. There is professer, dr.zamboni, that has found evidence that ms is caused by circulation in the veins. He has had 118 ms sufferers and since his treatment they have not had attacks for 18 months. please check this story out it is remarkable. Im hoping there will be extensive media attention on this soon, but until i see it on cnn i am gonna spread the word.

I'm sorry. Such an early age to be diagnosed. But check this out, when I was 11-12 years old I had frequent blackouts that went away. I am 43 now and was just diagnosed this year. You're going to be okay.

You're lucky, Canada is the only country where the local MS-Society supports the research/treatment according to the new understanding of the causes

I was diagnosed with MS 11 years ago, but have had symptoms for longer. I was told I was neurotic and had post natal depression before finally getting a diagnosis!
These days I do OK. I have problems in lots of ways and it can be a challenge, but the main thing is to stay positive. It's not the end of the world!! Don't let MS define you, live a different version of who you really are!!

my mom has been diagnosed with MS 1 Year ago.. this disese is not spreadable. its inside the body and you can not die from it. iam just glad that my mom is still here to have her first grandchild
to Melindaca yes they can do an MRI Too se what is going on\inside your body.they would usually do it in the brain..
someone or somthing out there will know that they have MS. I Belive that eveyone who has it, is beautifull in their own way.!!
