This video is a two part visual guide that compliments a Beret knitting pattern by The Casting On Couch.
It explains row by row the decrease details forming this leaf motif at the crown.
The seed stitch beret is worked in moss or seed stitch over 4 rows and in the round! It uses 31/2 and 4mm circular needles and progresses to double pointed ones towards the final few rows where stitches become greatly reduced.
There are further images and tips for the main pattern in a third video titlled Seed stitch beret.
This pattern is available on line fom www.thecastingoncouch.com

  • Thank you very much for the beautiful beret pattern and your clear and lovely explanation. I am surely going to try and knit this beret.

I wish others would also explain clearly like you.

    Thank you once again.

  • Beautiful beret! Thank you!
