  • That's how Rampage Jackson works his defense. You can see him use it in his last fights with Wanderlei Silva and Chuck liddell right before he counters with a KO punch.

  • What are the pros and cons of this jab defense versus the conventional parry/bat with right hand?

  • @vjm007

Looks like it but works much much better. As a bonus it doesn't leave your body exposed.

  • looks like Keysi Fighting Method

  • @EbonZEN I agree. I like crazy monkey but think it works a lot better in MMA or self defense than in boxing. It's gd for stopping u getting hit while u close the distance then clinch in MMA or u wud most likely head butt and/or knee to the groin in a self defense situation. It's simple and easy to learn, don't need to spend too much time on it, worth learning.

  • does this thing do full contact sparring?

  • @73truthseeker you dont get knock out when u roll with punches. that is for sure. this guy is majorly confused.

  • when some one blocks like that u just unload on them and you will get through to them. whou is this dude? this is just some mad up bull.

  • Did a New York street fighting style called 52 Blocks have some influence here? They use a similar style of blocking.

    Look up this clip:

  • Guys wearing shorts with eyes on their asscheeks..... seems kinda homo.

  • @0713mas It's where (if you're left handed/orthodox stance) your left forearm is across your stomach, your body turned almost all the way to the right, and your right arm is in front of you, your palm protecting your face. Floyd Mayweather uses it a lot. There's a youtube vid where he explains it to an interviewer. It's called the Philly shell.
