  • Keeps Aussies in jobs. Stop ur bitching bunch of wanker fanboys

  • this Daewoo pales in comparison alongside the new Hyundai Elantra,

  • @Siegetower the Hyundai i30 has won COTY for 3 years solid and is a deserved winner, why would you buy a Cruze? Drives better and is more reliable. Out of 3000+ cars at my location, anything with a Hyundai badge wins hands down on reliability....and before the Toyota whiners start arguing I have yet to see an i30 throw a piston through the sidewall of the moter like a couple of our Corollas have.....

  • @Siegetower htere is much better alternatives, the car is designed for a world market and is only built here because of huge government handouts/tax breaks. The quality just isn't there. Already a big seller as the Korean model because most of them are sitting in rental car yards, and the general public buy them because they are blinded by a badge(ie brand snobs) as was the case with the Daewoo Karlos, bad seller until Holden put a badge on it...is crap but sells due a badge which is just sad..

  • @Siegetower erm....I work for a major car rental brand and we have hundreds if not thousands on fleet (mainly due to price and the inability of a competitor to supply an order) and we have many customers requesting that they do not want a Cruze, we customers who have had them complain a series of recalls and incessant warning lights (engine etc). Gutless, terrible gear box and uncomfortable seating. When put up against a Lancer, the renting public speaks loud and clear as to what they prefer.

  • @CommentStation Yes but in Australia it can't be a competitor for the Commodore. Which most motoring enthusiasts in Australia would prefer. If the exchange rate between US$ and Aussie $ ever goes favourable to our exports again, the US market would once again have available the G8 (V6/V8), or even a variant of the Holden Special Vehicle 'Clubsport', based on the Commodore but with an LS7 engine. Then the Chevy Cruze would pale in comparison.

  • @Ansett76 So you aren't just blowing air out of your a***, WHY is it the biggest piece of crap.

It's been engineered to not be a competitor for the Commodore. The Chevrolet Cruze last year beat BMW racing to be winner of the World Touring Car Championship. The Australian model SRi takes the best suspension package for a medium car GM has, and the best in its' class 1.4i Opel engine. Already a big seller as the Korean model, now making Aussie jobs. What exactly is wrong with it???

  • biggest peice of crap sold with a Holden badge since the Piazza....

  • chevrolet's is better

  • @baggenkents NOISY = diesel. i guess that the quality of australian built cars is dropping, so korean built cars are no better, nor worse
