Miss Representation held a powerful panel discussion after their Sundance Film Festival premiere that featured Jennifer Siebel Newsom (screenwriter/director, Miss Representation), Geena Davis, Gloria Steinem, Barbara J. Berg (Author), Jim Steyer (Common Sense Media) and Pat Mitchell (President/CEO Paley Center for Media and Former President/CEO of PBS) as the moderator. Many thanks to Levi's Shape What's to Come for sponsoring this event. • equality is a myth

  • Everyone with a daughter, sister, niece should rush out to see it or buy the DVD!

Incredibly insightful. You can tell it's made post-Reagan...excellent!

    Congrats, Jennifer Newsom.

Judy Holm's The F Word: WHO WANTS TO BE A FEMINIST? See it on Doc-Zone at the CBC tv station up north. It's frightening in its realistic portrayal of the demeaning of girls nad women in Canada/U.S. Hillary Clinton's bashing during the campaign is not something a male candidate would have gone through!
