Because he had said that he was into more classic and cultural things and basicly said that he couldn't deal with the "riff-raff" that he would have had to deal with if he continued

WEll Lord Sugar is known to be a big football fan (he once owned a club, a bad one at that) and if you say you don't like football to Sugar then you're in trouble because you've got to be able to get along with your employer
