I read "The Red Leather Diary" a few months ago,and it's the best book I've read in ages. I could not put this book down. NY Times writer Lily Koppel tells the fascinating story of finding this diary from the 1920's-30's in a dumpster outside of her NYC apartment building, detailing the life of the teenager Florence Wolfson and her life in Old NYC of the 1930's in extraordinary detail, then embarks on the journey of finding 90-year-old Florence and returning the diary to her. An amazing book!!!
