That is some freaky stuff at 6.36 with the "Claw" people. I did some research and some scientists (Good ones I assume considering they're allowing us to know the gov's secrets) say that aliens came to earth for mining purposes. They didn't want to work, so they created us, humans. We are supposedly hybrids of various animals and them. After they were done mining, they left for some time. When they returned to earth to destroy us, they couldn't because they fell in love with earth women. That is all that was said.
