I'm glad that you’re able to give an assessment of a film without tripping over your own toes but try to remember that despite your distaste for the film and putting future predictions aside, at the time the film was a box-office and critical success. I Am Legend was a mediocre film that will be forgotten in due time. I prefered Will Smith when he was the Fresh Prince instead of getting by in dull, uninspiring adaptations and B-movies.
