Lolita the killer whale. The innocent prisoner of Miami Seaquarium. Lolita's tank is sub-standard by American marine laws - it measures 35 feet across and 12 feet deep around the edges to 20 feet at it's deepest point.
Please lobby the authorities listed, and if you are a US campaigner, hassle them at their park gates regularly with flyers and banners, they don't like that! Email the following:

National Marine Fisheries Service. Ask why they continually allow Miami Sea Aquarium to operate when it is sub-standard to their own laws.
Email Ann.Terbush@noaa.gov and babara.a.kohn@usda.gov.

Florida State Tourist Board. Tell them why you won't consider visiting Florida. Email webmaster.flausa@milesmedia.com.

Miami Sea Aquarium. Email webmaster@miamiseaquarium.com.

I went to the Seaquarium and the show was amazing... but yes, the pool where she's held captive is ridiculously small. Lol you can even see her by using online maps such as Google maps or Bing. Also, what a shame that this vid has such a low quality =\

as much as im against wild animals in captivity there is a certain point where they cant be sent back in there wild the evidence show its doesnt really work the best we can do for her at this point in move her to and open water pen but i just dont think setting her free at this age it far. she doesnt know how to be a whale :( all i can say is at least in NA they can no longer take whale from the wild. truly sad that its taken over 20 years to get there...

@Teamsong1 Lolita has nothing to do with Sea World! Lolita is from Miami Seaquarium! People DON'T want Lolita free because Sea World beats their animals! They want her free so she can reunited with her family in the wild, where she belongs! U DON'T know what you're talking about!
