Palin says that acts of monstrous cruelty stand on their own, that they begin and end with the perpetrator. I wonder if she would have felt the same way if she lived in a country where lynchings still took place. Would she have failed to provide leadership away from the bigotry and institutionalized racism that provided the support beams for the hangman's noose?

@chris100358 I don't watch those networks. If she fought back as a principled person, which she claims to be, her followers would have picked up the tab. She instead cashed in with her books and Fox.

@wagzel I can see that you still need some information; but it is not your fault... all 3 networks ABC, CBS and NBC refused to acknoweldge the direct statement from Palin as to why she was resigning.
15 lawsuits - all dropped - costing the Palins $500,000 to defend and her accusers nothing to lodge. btw - where's Charlie?

Name one candidate who is still standing after 1,2,4,6,10 attacks, lawsuits, slanders. 300 lawyers were crawling all over her hometown and Anchorage for a year and a half. Which charge stuck? What other 'candidate' or 'politician' has addressed daily/weekly issues with fully documented responses/concurrences/rebuttals via facebook and published articles?
