It's a space scraft and you'll be drifting alot. It's actually quite refreshing and easy once you figure it out.

one of the most difficult levels, but not impossible to finish ;)

Go play Falcon 4.0 then ;p
Ace is a fun game because is not a simulator.
Also its a Spaceplane. You put it on a rocket, you send it in space and it can come down and land.

@RCGeek1 No, you didn't; I mentioned mass out of convenience (my bad). Look, if you wanted to push a fat dude around the ice rink, would you get a kid to do it or an adult?
Nukes may not need oxygen to burn initially, but with no medium the explosive force won't carry well. The energy will quickly disperse in vacuum.
I did miss the moving rudders since it's mostly in HUD view, but they're still not useless. Imagine retrieving a huge spacecraft from the seas. The Apollo lunar module was tiny.

"airplanes can fly in space the same way regular airplanes fly in the atmosphere"?
first of all, the "airplane is a spacecraft" second, this mission has a physics model that simulates a zero gravity flight situation, maybe you aren't smart enough to notice the huge differences in every single aspect of the gameplay. even as simplistic as the mission was it was a breakthrough in ace combat, every fan will remmember this mission for the rest of the series. you can go ahread and play some halo
