It reallyworks! I was almost floored!

A matchstick? Sounds like witchcraft to me, time to burn someone!
-
No problem! I did it for you dear.
-
It was unique. I am glad you enjoyed!

We had it reverse. Outside for years, then inside to stop thieves. It was a joym alright. Granddad would look the guy up and down like he was being robbed, lol!
Yes, we're still on the f-ing RAPING grid! We have four panels, but no time to set them up yet the way we want. We'd like a windmill too. With theses bills we'd need a change machine in the house! Still paying about 1G bi-monthly! RAAAAAAPE!

Thanks! Dean chose it! He's a blue man. The whole house would be blue if he had his way, lol. THe inside of the cabinets were supposed to be a darler dshade of that, but I never finished, lol.

I just saw a news report of people who still pay their bills in person! They set up a place for them to pay, so they don't have to trapse (sp?) to different locations. They charge you a fee to pay all bills at once. Imagine? A fee to pay your bills? Absurd!
Never had a electric meter, but living in germany we had a separate heater for the water in the kitchen and bathroom and you had to prime it before using it.
I NEVER shed a tear while cutting onions...i don't know why :)

Now that you mention it, we had this too in Germany. It never occured to me until now. Mum always had to go to the boiler before running the bath.
You're lucky... Onions HATE me!

I remember those meters, When I lived in Chesterfield 1978 there was 1 in the house I rented. Also when on holiday at Pontins or on a caravan site there was always a pay as you go meter, used to check it before turning the TV on.

Pay as you go? That's something I sort-of experienced, lol. If we let it run out, we had to feed it to turn the telly on or have a hot bath.
