Madden NFL 11 - How Is This a Fumble!?

I was playing my Minnesota Vikings franchise, in a preseason game against the Detroit Lions. With backup QB Cam Newton in, I was moving down field on a possible comeback drive, when this happened. As you can see in the video, Newton was clearly throwing the ball away, as a pass. Yet, it is ruled a fumble!? I challenge it, but the call is upheld.

Yeah, that was OBVIOUSLY a backwards pass...... that's a fumble. Not even close.

because it never when forward, it went backwards, the ball thatis. if it went forward then it would've been incomplete but bcuz it went backwards its a fumble.
