that's how I felt about her Seattle show in 98...couldn't even hear her...and that was my first Tori show :(

Wow! Thanks for posting this. I was at this concert! This was a BIG venue for her and I really was dissapointed with how noisy it was (all of the screaming teen girls)...I had previously seen her at the smaller and more intimate Tower Theater near Philly when I was in high school....I still love her!

This is only the third time Tori played Playboy Mommy live.

Thanks so much for posting this performance! This is one of my favorite songs off Choirgirl, but I don't really like the sound of a Whirlitzer (I probably spelled it wrong, sorry), so I LOVE being able to hear her do this with the keyboard and the original organ-type sound she used on the albumn.

do you even know what this song is about? it is truly heartbreaking.
Uh, this song, and all of Choirgirl, really, will always break my heart too! Tori was in such pain then, and the music is so, so , sad. I'm glad she has Tash and she's happy now :)

I love the harmony at the beginning of the video and the different pitches she used differently from other versions. She's all about improvising and changing things that make the original can be a legend, but the changes are legendary. You feel the drops of sadness in the palms of her hands playing the piano and then you feel your own tears on your own hands, at the sound of the lyrics.
