testing 1/2 inch blue stars in a 6 inch plastic hemi shell. not a huge fan of the odd ring of no stars (i'm guessing around the seam) but i think this was due to lack of fiber tape spiking. this shell was built and launched the same day so it's possible that the shell needed more curing time but i do not think that is the issue.

thanks man, hopefully they get better as i go along. didn't give this one enough time to cure, the burst needs work, and i should have used more strapping tape.

as they say, we learn little from successes, with this shell i learned a lot.

thankfully each shell i make is getting better so i should have a better result next time around. thinking bottom shot with a small (3-5 grams) 70/30 burst bag and possibly a blue matrix comet tail.

  • nice very nice and that ring of no stars is due to when you put 2 hemis together the stars dont a line properly in that area my technequi is to sort of put the stars a little over one of the hemis but any ways great job for your first 6 inch shell
