  • @Eltroim bass player is Mac Gyver

  • 30 years ago... THIRTY.

That's fucking crazy. Where did my life go?

  • lujas10 - wow - let me mull that 1 over n' reply!

cheers, mate! k - yeah a direct 'inspiration,' but unlike "he's so fine," chiffons that g. harrison did (unintentionally i think) steal for my sweet lord ... i think the bassline aside that the jam BARLEY clear the legal bar! the bassline as u say is nicked!

  • @caesarcerf Good call, but Weller himself 'lifted' the bass line and general chords from 'Can't Hurry Love', not the Phil Collins pop shite cover, but yes the orginal bass line etc what do you think?

  • lol... weller doesn't cheap out on guitar picks ;-)

  • Strange to think, Bruce only played bass because no one else would. Class bassist

  • it'll be the 30th anniversary next march (2012) go figure, where is the celebration?

  • Time is short

    Life is cruel

It's up to us to change this town called Malice!

  • notice listeners - who ripped of the keyboard part and general 'lilt' of the song? bum springsteen, glory days and the kinks - come dancing.

  • great lyrics. great song.
