Duluth loves a storm

Lake Superior was a little fussy today, so naturally everyone grabbed a camera and headed down to the canal. I guess that includes me, but it's okay if I do it.

That was nothing. I live in duluth and i'd be glad to show you the worst of the worst within wrath of hell trying to come up but thank god because he won't let devil come up that far.....

This is like filming people's faces while Mt St Helens explodes. Why not point the camera at Mt St Helens?

Always blows my mind to see these huge wave vids off Great Lakes, because I grew up here in Boston right by Atlantic Ocean, all my life, and am fascinated by inland "seas" with that much surf and power. But I notice that because the Lakes really don't have any measurable tide compared with the oceans, the difference is there isn't the "sentient" quality to the surf's drive that you notice at the ocean with the outgoing or incoming sun-/moon-driven tides (outside of the Lakes' seiche effects).

I wish you had showed more of the Lake. We can see people anywhere. But thanks for posting.
