Very raw with virtually no computerized editting. It's is my first whack at this sort of thing and my ghetto art supplies were limited to a pencil, a pen and a fat stack of copy paper, so I apologize for the gritty visuals. Quality will definitly improve with the upcoming chapters. I almost consider this a pilot episode, but since I'm not working for a fatcat television network, I think we'll keep it simple and justick to "Chapter 1" for now.

Comment. Criticize.
Show sum luv.
haha, hey that was really good, I really thought it was going to be like a dragon ball z thing and have that be all, but it had a really good twist. It was a good roller coaster of emotions which is important and something I hope to see in future episodes. It looks like you put a lot of work into it, the drawings are well done too. I actually want to see what happens to him and what kind of people he meets and stuff, good pilot!

Thanks a lot for the complements! ...that's some tasty feedback.
Yup Dragon Ball Z was pretty much the sort of Eastern pop-culture influence I was going for when drawing that melodramatic opening. I wish I could have made the scene LOOK like a Japanese cartoon, too, but I can't really draw that manga artstyle. Hohum.
But, yes, believe me you, emotions will be coastered, people will be met, and stuff will be happened.

nice comic story .... so u mean daydreaming wasting time is the fools paradise by losing a grip to reality --this the point of this episode right?-- so on the next episode it would be him adventuring to the real world?

Thanks for showing interest, Deff.
It may seem surprising, but a struggle with sanity is not what I'm going for here. The character will remain fully aware of the difference between reality and fantasy as he mentally phases in and out of them throughout the story. As for the title, despite the phrase "fool's paradise" typically used to depict daydreaming as being a waste of time, that is not the premise behind this comic. Good guesses, though. Chapter 2 will elucidate further.
