I mean, if they DO still have "rangers", that really shows how far back in time they are. Calling your officers "Rangers" or goofy shit like "texas ranger" doesn't reflect greatly on your state. That's like ACTUAL counties in this country, to this day, calling their law enforcement people "sheriff." What is this, Mayberry??
