  • look at all of the ACCUSERS below me on this comment page. See how offended they are? That's because Mark is preaching the TRUTH of the GOSPEL and the LOVE of JESUS CHRIST! Open your eyes people, and see that this is REAL! people are used by the enemy everyday to destroy the truth, but God's truth is supreme and eternal. Living and Just, Healing and Binding! I rebuke the enemy and all his followers, and I call upon the living name of JESUS to heal and rescue those who've opened the wrong doors.

  • @PluralOfEverything I think you're over-thinking it. Spirituality is just there, it's always been there. As is human nature, hence the name human nature. Spirituality isn't always a good thing either, but it is a part of us. It's ignorant to not believe people's existence just because they don't matter to you. That type of judgement is just too empty. I don't think I need to go any further on that.

  • @14brad So rather than explain what you mean by spiritual, you add another term that you need to explain if you want your argument to make any sense. What is human nature?

I believe in historical figures that have been photographed or for whom there is physical evidence of their existence. But as for people like Julius Caesar, Jesus, or Alexander the Great, it really doesn't matter to me whether they existed or not. They have no bearing on my life.

  • @PluralOfEverything Those two things are not the same, superstition is derived from fear (man-made) and spirituality is concurrent with human nature. People believe in many things despite evidence. There are countless historical figures you've never seen, yet believe in. How come? And people believe in themselves because they have to, they need to believe in something and if that something threatens their ego it makes sense that they wouldn't want to believe in it.

  • @14brad What do you mean by spiritual? When I think of spirituality, I think of superstition. The two are synonymous. People believe in things despite a lack of evidence for lots of different reasons, so I can only really answer for myself when I was superstitious. I wanted to believe there was a power beyond myself that I could appeal to for help and wisdom. I didn't believe in myself. I saw myself as a pawn in a cosmic game. Now I know better.

  • @PluralOfEverything Why are humans spiritual in the first place though?

  • @14brad Of course I've considered that. I considered it for years until I came to the conclusion that it is, in fact, insanity. People are spiritual for many reasons, none of them being that spirits and the supernatural actually exist. They just want for them to.

  • @PluralOfEverything Because you don't consider the fact that it isn't. Humans are spiritual for a reason.

  • @14brad Then why does it sound like pure insanity?

  • @PluralOfEverything Nothing I said has been made up. That's it. Plain and simple.

  • @14brad The holy spirit of Peewee Herman is why I watch cartoons and make silly jokes. The holy spirit of Chuck Norris is why I roundhouse kick people into outer space. Hey, making up random crap is fun. I can see why you do it.
