    I want that LED light bulb. Any lightbulb that survives 5 years of use and still keeps going is worth more than it's initial cost.

    Actually, does that 105 year old bulb ever get turned OFF and if it does not then why not because the mythbusters have already blown the myth or is that 105 year old bulb an alien bulb and exempt from the experiment?

    really not sure about this one, if we turn our lights OFF like what is mentioned here to save bulb life, our bulbs always blow however, if we leave them ON they last for years?

    i saw an expirement where cfls were consecutivly turned on for 30 seconds then off for 2 minutes. One of the cfls lasted only 70 of the 12000 hours of on time that was labeled on the bulbs package. /watch?v=3gjvOOlHmsU&feature=g­-all-u
