i was in this audience and fuck me was it awful, everyone around me stood chatting with their backs to the stage, yet when they play a song thats been on the radio the whole audience wanna start jumping about and singing along. Its no wonder he was pissed off when this band have worked damn hard to get where they are, he probably went to reading with the same expectation i did, wild music loving crowds, yet these days its more under 18s binge drinking or chavs using it as an excuse to get drunk

Being a musician myself I have to greatly agree with KOL on this one. They're saying fuck you because they're gonna play what they want because its THEIR music. Just because they got big off of it doesn't make them owe the crowd and fans anything. They're playing what they love. It's the crowd thats being a bunch of whining bitches. You're going to eventually hear the song so shut the fuck up and enjoy the music thats actually better than any of their hits... Fucking tools you all are.

@littlepickle90 I expected Hyde Park to deliver a good crowd who knew all their songs, but besides maybe a thousand in the front, people only knew their songs from their last 2 records. It was bullshit, next time i see them will be in a small venue

@TheButtinski And the real reason they were basically "given" a record deal, which I do kind of agree with, is because Nathan and Caleb have insanely gifted voices. Whether you're a fan or not, Caleb has one of the best rock n' roll voices ever. Period. Not to mention, they all look like models. And to hate on their musicianship, when Jared is one of the most gifted bass players to come out of the woodworks in a while, is just, well, dumb.  Nathan/Matt may not be the best, but both unique..

@TheButtinski Are you being serious? Getting signed into the music industry is half the battle.. if even that. Do you know how many bands get a record deal but don't make it after their first album? This band has toured their ass off for the past eight years.. They busted their asses to be in the position to play in front of such a huge crowd and are well deserving of it. And how you try to talk shit about their musicianship befuddles me.. especially when you can't even spell the word right.
