@oceandawn26 It can mean several things; as a noun, for example, it is a card came, a word for the liquor, and can also refer to an alcoholic, or a hobo under the influence. However, Wooster uses the word as an adjective, in the meaning of "odd," or "peculiar". This definition is listed in a normal dictionary published by Random House as British slang originating in the 1820's.
I love the part at 38:15, where we learn that Bertie's favorite part of any exhibition is...the midway. This must be why he's the only fictional character that makes my oxytocin levels spike - he's a 10 year old boy in a 20-something man's body. ;) Now I'm left wondering if lexicographers have ever discovered the exact meaning of 'rummy', the word Biffy loves so much...
