Good Champ Car race! At the start, Dominguez pushes out Jourdain. At the restart Dominguez again in trouble. He spun and caught Lavin out. Boudais and Junqueira were to fast and they stay ahead for the race. In the middle of the race, Hunter-Reay shifted down to low and got out. This video shows cool images of Almendinger back from Hunter-Reay and Wilson cars. Bourdais finished first followed by Junqueira and Tracy.

I remember the 1st turn accident on the 1st lap. was sitting in the festival turns. Once Jourdain spun into the gravel my aunt and uncle were devestated!

I was at that race. Portland International Raceway was repaved/revised during the 07-08 off-season. Mazda sponsored the 2007 Champ Car race and will sponsor another race weekend in the summer of 2008.
