I interested in using a barf diet and was wondering, don't the dogs get covered in chicken slime? Do you have to clean them after each feeding or do they clean them selves. I just don't want the dogs spreading raw chicken germs everywhere.

@jaymoneymilllionare Just don't buy from a breeder. I feed my dogs a high quality food (I feed blue buffalo) and a drumstick once a day or some other raw meat. But many people feed an all raw diet. Just give them some fruits and veggies. They still need their antioxidants, calcium,and other minerals that are not found in meat.

How long after they are born can you start feeding them raw meat? Also how long before you feed them bone with the meat?

@jaymoneymilllionare I suggest reading into raw more before you get your dog. 2-2.5% of its desired weight for its age is recommended of several different kinds of animal meats.

@bwflolo you don't need to worry he will get use to it and he will be healthier,keep giving him raw food and bones.
