Lady Macbeth sleepwalking scene

This is me doing Lady Macbeth's sleepwalking scene from Act V, scene I of Macbeth. It's the famous "out, damned spot!" scene. Yeah... Yup. I forgot to add the beginning song to the credits. It's "Coughing Colors" by Tilly & the Wall.

Also want to say this -- When I did this scene, it was rushed and I was trying not to be heard by my parents, and trust me, that spot where I was sitting was one awkward position. Also, I had to re-record the audio and dub it because my stupid mic wasn't working right. So trust me, I know this is a crappy performance. It disgusts me every time I see it, but my friends don't want me to take it down. One day maybe I'll re-record.

Please refrain from commenting on how Lady Macbeth is "supposed" to be. Nothing pisses me off more than people who stick to one interpretation and refuse to accept any other takes on a character. :)

Nice try, you must remember she is sleep walking in this scene. You really lack the intensity that this scene needs and it is not at all haunting. I think you should watch Judi Denchs performance and try again without the worry of your parents hearing you. :D

Thanks! I keep meaning to redo it. Actually, I watched Judi Dench's take on it and immediately afterward I had a huge epiphany, but I'd already recorded this and never really got around to redoing it.

you have a really impressive vocal quality, and i think, for what this is, you pull it off astonishingly well.
