My first time capturing underwater video and using new software for editing. This is the U.S.S. Oriskany, an aircraft carrier that was sunk 24 miles off the coast of Pensacola, Fl as an artifical reef.
I was on this dive. Nice job Kyle, its about time to head back for another dive. I didn't remember you videoing this dive. I just stumbled across by this video.
Searching Lanier dive videos is what first brought me here, but that wouldn't make any sense for more reasons than I care to go into, least of which is the fact you can see what they're filming. haha
A quick google shows the Lake Lanier Looney Birds to be the dive group visiting the site.
She was 911 ft. long had A displacement of 27,100 tons her beam was 147.5 ft. and her draft was 31 ft. she was A great ship and served well she was also the first navy ship to cross cape horn.
@trailerparkboys13 No  you can hardly see in the water of Lanier it is very murky
