Driving Overseas Highway US 1 to Key West HD

Because of YouTube time allotment I pared the drive down to the more scenic views starting past Islamorada. The shades of green and blue water was incredible, I wish it came out in the video. There were also all kinds of birds about, some of which hovered on updrafts right next to the bridges. You can see some of the old Overseas Railroad and Highway still standing. It was a great drive and I felt a lot of emotions. I had driven over 5,000 miles from Oregon to be at this spot and when I reached the end I could go no further.

Wow 5000 miles! Heck of a road trip. Was this a family vacation??

It was a part running away and a part discovery ( America and myself) road trip. I had lost both my parents, my job, my residence and my girlfriend all with in 18 months. So with my things in storage, and my dog in the passenger seat, I decided to "make lemonade" with what life had presented me. It's still a work in progress. Peace

@PeaceLoveScoobie I truly want to do that one day, once i get my new Subaru WRX, a handy camcorder or with a mount in my windshield. And just go from Virginia, to new orleans to texas up california to washington and around.

@AudioInjectedSoul11 That's a great plan. I hope you do it and that I see you on the road. My original plan was to drive to DC, New york and Boston but Winter slowed me down and I came back mostly the same the way. Next time I will go through the North and hit Chicago. Peace

very cool, they should make more overseas highways, if possible from new york to europe for example, its only 6 hours by plane, they could make a overseas highway perhaps in future would be cool, i could drive then to new york for holiday vacation for example ! i'll show you 1 of my road movies from croatia europe, hope you like it too :) gonna subscribe in a moment to you :)
