Absolutely love Berganza. She is my favourite Carmen. Domingo is my favourite Don Jose. He is sooooooo sexy (sorry for the fangirl drool). I know this is from theatre nationale L´opera de Paris, but do you know if they travelled with this production? My mother saw Domingo in Carmen at Palacio de Bellas Artes this same year and I was wondering if Berganza was his Carmen then too.

Berganza is the most authentic, seductive and velvety-voiced Carmen ever. She is elegant and poised in every aspect of her characterization. Brava Berganza!

Berganza is the best Carmen ever, I grew up listening to my dad's old lp of this opera with Berganza and Domingo... thanks so much for uploading! ps where did you find these clips? I'd love to watch the entire opera beginning to end
