Wind mill Innovative high-energy potential:

Descrition to www.eolprocess.com

The blades reproduce all the appearance of a sailboat that would make a circle in the water with a wind determined.

The blades are always optimized and be settled in real time depending on the wind direction.

The tangentially thrust on the arms of the rotor is always optimized.

Details: http://www.eolprocess.com/start.php

The windmill received distinctions in each competition where it was presented.

  • The idea is great.. but how does it work in case the wind has different directions during the day or the month... does it adjust to the wind direction automatically?.. how good is the stability of that blades in case of high wind speed... thx

  • @zzztrrr

  • The weather vane will cause the blades in real time because it controls the axis on which are mounted gears master used to rotate the blades

  • WOW C'EST COOL

  • This is a terrible design and will not work. The apparent wind angle is not equal to that of boats. Due to the high rotation speed the wind always comes from the front of the profile. This is called the apparent wind angle. You have to design for 'vent debout' during the entire rotation. This angle is between 1 and 8 degrees usually.

  • I had the same idea a few nonth ago, but I did not know how to realize it.

  • Ok, I watched the presentation at eolprocess-com. I kind of understand written French. It looks like a do it yourself project-idea to tinker about, have fun doing it and no bother to pay royalties.

  • @traderpierre

What amount of power can be obtained by this design, per weight or volume of the device, for let´s say 10,20,30,40 KPH of wind speed ? How does it compare to more traditional designs? Is there any generator based on this design already in the market ? If so , what prices and at what power per wind speed ?

  • Waaaaay too complicated to be economical. Not to mention reliable.

  • @traderpierre with a tale wing, like normal eolic turbine.
